I remember I did this once to make an alpha test version of a map. I assume you can give full techs through emp_info_params, but I can't find the variable. Was this removed for 2.23?
U usually do that in the map config file with emp_research_complete 1 and/or emp_(un)research_item <name>
emp_sv_research_complete 1/0 Dunno if what Brutos posted works or not, just know that is what i've used from time to time in server.
Wiki has most of them, but it might be a bit updated. You dont need sv_cheats if you enable them in the map config. look at cfg/maps/emp_escort.cfg as an example.

So I compiled my map after doing some new brushwork. It's beta 8 of homeland. Beta 7 didnt have full tech, but for some reason beta 8 does. I haven't used any of the commands you guys gave me yet. I did give each side a VF and 10000 resources. Do you think placing a VF automatically activates full research? I could try removing the VFs and doing another compile, but using forums is more fun.
The emp_info_params entity has a setting that does this. And don't waste your time with removing the VFs, that won't make a difference.
also flounder you prolly wana change the new setting that by default is "allow no turrets" to "allow lvl 1, lvl 2, and lvl3".
Devs need to make an announcement in here when they do that stuff It could really mess people up if all the maps suddenly didn't allow turrets.
