this suggestion is marked for fail.
leave the fucking engie, you nerf him all the time, he is the most basic class, dont strip him off everything ffs.

Yes because the engineer is not the swiss army knife of Empires.
Any class that carries an ammo box will be able to use some kind of spam.
Spam wont be fixed by removing ammo boxes from engies.

Getting rid of seismic spam would be getting rid of an integral part of empires...

Obviously a box of ammo with a scout outside your rax is much better than an engy...

Too OP on bren side, as bren would never get out of their barracks.

If you must see something done:

Remove ammo boxes altogether, give everyone more ammo, and full ammo on spawn.

no matter what, engies can deal with it

not ace class, but engy can deal with it

    infantry? a turret
    tanks? a turret
    buildings? nadespam
    turrets? a turret/nadespam

on top of that engies can build stuff too for the commander

yes this should be changed - the most boring and dull task should be an even burden for the whole team ...

    #agree

T'aint a bonus to be a beatch, trust me - I've spent whole games being a donkey for a jackass team who just can't be bothered to build shit, and instead go out and gren, rifle or scout.

Being a builder isn't fun when it's not an option but a necessity for your team to have any chance at winning.

I hardly would consider the ability to slowly resurrect an ml turret as proof that the engineer has the ability to "deal" with vehicles...
And by your logic is applicable to almost every class:
Rifleman: kills infantry, stickies tanks, 2 sticky bombs kill a turret, 12 sticky bombs kill a rax about
Scout: sniper rifle, stun stickies tanks, saps buildings/turrets
Grenadier: mortar/carbine pistol+shotty/ mines for inf, rpg/mortar/mines for tanks, rpg/mortar for buildings and turrets
In essence, all classes have the ability to deal with anything, just with varying levels of specialization and effectiveness.
The engineer simply has the most "obvious", if you will, means of dealing with these classes.
Although personally I would consider the engineer to be the only class with almost no anti-vehicle situations.
I mean, it's either build turrets, decon the tank, or run away, and neither is a very desirable option when facing a tank...

hexi you miss out walls. still your main point stays valid, to a certain extend every class can deal with every situation ...

I meant that walls are an applicable tool when you are running away from tanks, but I guess that that wasn't entirely clear.

hexi the point is that every class other then engineer needs help (an ammobox, support, etc etc) to be of real use

the engineer does not need help, he can do it all solo

and also, when facing light tanks or plain meds, engineers can out-build a tank

Engineers kinda needs help with shooting people and killing tanks, he can't do that completely alone.
