remove them from ammoboxes lower # of nades u can carry buff nade dmg/mortar reload time/give rockets splash ??? profit
I reject this idea due to the fact that it will reduce my number of ammoz! Need more, not less, ammoz!
I actually enjoy killing people. I often yell "Anti-Tank rocket to the FACE!" when I get a headshot with the RPG. That would hurt. Edit: Add "with rockets" to the end of the first sentence.
Glycencity. NF. Trying ot take centre Capping the money flag at the start of the road into NF turf. See a BE guy running past Swivel by reflex and fire a rocket completely by reflex, did not guide. Went through the little cast iron fence thing and killed him. Epic lulz were to be had.
hmmm why not but than grenadiers are addicted to barracks to refill their ammo I mean armorys use crates too
But armory boxes are literally the same entity as engineer ammocrates, just parented to the armory. Why go to the expense of recoding completely different ammoboxes for engineers and armories/preplaced... EDIT: I could live with halving the amount of time you get explosives though, since that would mean you'd no longer be able to fire infinitely.
Actually... I'd be against weakening the ability of grenadiers to supply themselves from ammo crates. This is one of the few 'teamwork' things in the game that is regularly used. It encourages engineers and grenadiers to work together, which is great. Sure, rocket-sniping is annoying, but it can be fixed in other ways... explosive nade/mortar spam is mostly a problem on a few specific maps, and has more to do with map design than weapon/ammoz design. Now, seismic nade-spam is something different. It does sort of bother me that, at the moment, engineers are encouraged to use their ammo crates as their own personal seismic spam-points... Removing this would seriously weaken the ability of engineers to take down structures, though. That's a major problem. The game already comes down to who gets a key rax up way too often -- this would make it even worse, by making it that much harder to take that key rax down. So I'd say no, it shouldn't be changed unless other major changes accompany it (like, say, some sort of weaker 'forward rax' as some people have suggested...)
I think a solution for seismic spam is making buildings weaker [to infantry grade weapons, add a modifier to tanks or something] so that all classes can kill a building unassisted. [But with full ammo] This probly applies best to grens, I wouldn't want riflemen capable of owning structures alone, but a gren being able to mortar a building to bits would be nice.
