Is this a uniquely American phenomenon? Do people show up to university in full military dress in other countries as well?
occasionally some recruits get to come from military service to the school to do some tests and shit. and then they are in uniform. Also driving tests and other shit that they have to attend to.
KIDS! Get off my lawn! WOMAN, where's ma shotgun? BTT: If I had the money, I'd buy a nice bunker and fit it up for zombie apocalypse/party/weird stuff.
party+weirdstuff is bad idea, if i had a bunker or special spot, i wouldn't want anyone else knowing about it.
At my university, there's an Army ROTC building on campus grounds and it's not uncommon to see ROTC students near the building in all sorts of military dress. But away from their building, it's different. I saw three of them going to class this morning in (rather unflattering) all-khaki dress clothes. For a minute, I thought it was a jump suit. It was all the same brown color. I've never seen anyone in camo at my campus. I don't think it's the norm here.
