I'd rather halt development and wipe every reference of Empires off the internet so no-one knows it ever existed than name a weapon after Grantrithor.
I meant now's the time to use those names. Tbh, most of those players are "grandfathered" now, so using those names shouldn't be a problem imo.
I just prefer names like on that list, that adhere to the story a bit, and don't seem too out of character. Some of the names I've seen suggested before like "The Drill" for the NFAR, and "Trenchfoot" for another weapon, just seem out of place.
Good, since no one is to invoke the name of the lord their god,creator of heaven and earth. Call it after the names from the wiki, like Raven,Falcon,Kren,etc. Those names were put there for a reason I don't see why we don't use them.
I actually deserve to have the mowtar named after me, you guys are just following my lead for no good reason. I have been thee gren for the past 4 years. I am the person who made other people realize it was a good class to DM with.
There are better Grenadiers than you, and there have been in the entire time I've played this game. I can't vouch for anything before that though.
I use to put in hella hours a day playing empires like you and that's when I was the best, but I never said I am the best now. I'm prolly not anymore cause I don't take it as seriously anymore and pretty much every time I play I have to get use to new weapon scripts.. But I was the first person to destroy riflemen with the mowtar, first to make turrets basically useless and prolly responsible for 80% of the nerfs and buffs for that damn weapon. In 1.8/2.0 testing tho I was offically the best. I took on everyone who thought they were better and beat them convincingly and not on little ass maps like district where its hard not to hit someone. No one else has had an impact on a weapon in this game like me..
I do want to point out that it;s the only "different" weapon. If this was TF2, then every weapon is unique, but in empires, all the weapons just fire regular bullets. The exceptions really are the RPG, melee, mortar and shotty. Sonecha got the Shotty nerfed, you evidently impacted the mortar, a few of us (enDs, myself, Mr Incognito, Mashav) had an effect on melee, and RPG just gets changed that often it doesn't matter. My point is, if you specialise in a unique weapon in a game as small as this, it's going to be changed around the ingame actions of who uses it. We have a small player base and an even smaller unique weapon list. If you use "obscure" weapon tactics effectively, other people will follow suite, and it'll no longer be obscure. tl;dr I just don't see it as being special, even if I don't necessarily doubt you may have been the best in 1.08 testing, because there really wasn't much competition. Having said that, I also don't disagree that DUB-33 sounds pretty cool. But if we did name it that, we'd never here the end of it, considering how much you on and on and on and on and on and on about stuff. So I'd probably stop sabotaging yourself if I was you and push the name because it's decent, not because you thought of it due to your own name and some ego fantasy.
I am just stating my case, its not about ego. It's currently a small player base yes, but if you add up everyone whos played since 1.7 its pretty big, shit the 2.0 release alone had like 6-10 populated servers going at the same time. People who like to use the mowtar don't need to thank me but they should at least know I have put in so much time and effort i have put into protecting it. I am a huge reason its the same fun ass weapon. And if you don't believe me look at every thread about the mowtare lol.. Krenzo himself called me the poster boy for the gren. And like I said im not here to brag and make you feel the need to try and shoot me down, I am just speaking on the subject at hand with my suggestion and as to why I think it should be the dub-33

If you can actually follow through with that, then you deserve to have it named after you. But then again, if I go by that logic, I have to name every empires weapon after Dubee.
It is. Saddening really, there was once a time when i'd like nothing better than to see that name on the weapon, but you've changed quite a bit in the last year - at least on the forums. Weedy got a big up for finding a shedload of bugs in 1.08. He also got himself banned.

Some people will laugh when I make fun of someone then when I make fun of them its all the sudden not funny. I've been hearing that I've changed as long as I've been here. The reality is you just don't know me. I've always been arogant and cocky, that's why so many people get excited when they kill me. I've been all talk forever.. It makes the game fun, I dunno what you think has changed about me but I have been the same.
I know I don't know you. I have, however, observed changes in your forum posts. That ofc doesn't mean you've changed, simply that the persona you project here has. And really, I haven't noticed you firin' ya lazorz at me. At least, not in any real way.
