A gamemode when you have to defend your base from endless waves of zombies,Combine,Striders,Gunships,helicopters, and antlion.Would be kind of fun.
It has equivalents. The mod for GMOD is RTS where you defend from wave after wave of antlions. This will NOT ever be officially implemented into Empires, so drop that part. Your best bet is to either find someone to make a minimod for Empires that does this, or to make one yourself.

Empires does not contain the code that would allow you to use zombies, or any NPC's for that matter, in your maps. So please, don't continue this idea, the idea plain sucks.
I think the idea has some potential, just not really tonnes. If code for zombies was in, I'd add something like this (maybe just a dark rundown city part of a map where you can go through buildings if you like, you just may get attacked a bit by zombies).
You could try Iron Grip: The Oppression, which is like that only the comm is evil and only they have tanks and their troops are semi-AI controlled evil stormtroopers. I always thought that that mod had potential. (It does have some neat maps with nice variety, too... the "great train robbery"-style one is great.) But anyway, it sounds much closer to what you're describing than Empires. And, honestly... I don't think tanks vs. zombies would be that much fun. I mean, what do the zombies do to your heavy tank, chew on it?
They spew acid slowly melting a hole inn your tank. Once the hull has been breached, the tank is no longer operational. You sit inside the tank with a shotgun shooting them through the hole, waiting for a chance to rush through said hole and make a break for safety.
Isnt the NCP code for zombies avlible from HL2 and wouldnt take much tweeking for empires. Would be nice. i mean imagne: Your trying to hold the last parts of the city from the BE experiment that went wrong. Thousnds of mindless zombies horde towards u. U only have 2 jeeps to give cover fire. As you try your best to hold the city. You cannot hear the screams from people above the gunfire. You try to hold as long as u can. Grenades only slow down the front rows but there a thousnds more. BE and NF are forced to fight for their lives as one. You look round and suddnly one of your jeeps explodes because they are comming from behind. You think your doomed for a death that is unimagineable...they get closer meter by meter. But then a gunship and a transport appers. The vulcan cannon wipes the zombies down but it is still not enough. You can see your team mates getting engulfed by the creatures and can only watch as they scream in pain as they are getting eaten alive. Rope ladders drop just in time as the horde gets all of a meter from you and the last of ur team. You climb for your life, you get almost to the top of the ladder and see that it is too late for one of your team mates as the creatues drag him off of the ladder. He disapers into a wave of zombies. All you can hear is his ear peaceing scream. You finish climbing and look back a city that once was...your home...your life...your hope. The city dissapers into the black smoke of burning that engulfs it from the fighting as you get futher and futher away. See. This is what a game type should be like :D
No, just no. Adding the code would undo all the bandwidth-related improvements Krenzo has made, and it wouldn't be copy-paste thing either, the code would need to be modified for use online. Zombies totally don't fit in the universe either.
