So yeah, this match is taking place this saturday, August 5 at 4PM Eastern Standard Time (GMT - 5) on the GK server. We are not sure if spectators will be allowed or not. We will play two maps, and perhaps a third if it's a tie. The current map selection is emp_Isle and emp_duststorm. Teams will be 10v10, or more if we have surplus teammates for both sides. Well this sounds interesting. I hope specs will be allowed. Any idea what maps it'll be? EDIT: If I'm allowed to spec. I'll record a demo for anyone that can't be there.
I just talked with GK, spectators will be allowed, but not in either teams ventrillo/teamspeak servers.
yeah we have source tv enabled but it doesnt work :/ anybody is allowed to spectate thats not a problem but i thi nk it would be a bit harsh if said spectators were on either clans teamspeak or ventrilo also how many people are likley to spectate? and feel free to abuse, spam or flame me for this but.. you guys are gonna get OWND
Every player in the match should be required to Recored this match. Like in official CS:S clan matches. As for the spectators will there be a list of people allowed or will it be first come first watch. If its a list I call a spot!
try fraps m8 and i was saying empires only has support for a 32 player server so 10v10 = 20 players + krenzo + dee + joe = 23 that means theres only 9 slots left
Ouch... Unless its going to be a SHORT match, or your only recording a short part of the match. I think fraps would be a bad idea. 30sec on 25fps and half size= 200mb. I hope you got a few 750gb drives in raid array. :D I would suggest simply recording a demo. 10min.=5mb PS: I had first dibs :D Plus I'll be recording a demo for everyone the whole match.
