Personally I wish Krenzo had won the alienware gaming system with a quad-core, dual graphics cards working in tandom with 2 GPUS, (Graphical Processing Units) a seperate PPU (Physics processing unit) 4 Gigs of RAM, and 2.5 terabytes of storage, *drools*. Then he could host a 64 player Empires server!

 

That PPU wouldn't help empires at all though. :/

 

and the GPUs wouldn't really help with a server either.

I wish he won it just cause it'd be a nice thing to have.

And are PPUs at all effective? I hear (from ATI) that an x1300(something) beats the physix card pretty soundly.

 

a mod cant really ask for money, its kinda tacky. people will be like "wtf no one else asks for money...btw, how to get ammoez?"

 

still you could set up a paypal account and say something like:"for those that really want to donate, heres the info...."

 

A PhysX PPU is only effective if the game uses the PhysX physics engine, which the source engine does not.

 

Still, a quad core and 4 gigs of ram should get the job done.
