explain Because to me it seems like Dayzero has to be played a lot more seriously... It seems to me like: More realism - less "fun" Could be fun if played really carefully, but that needs a lot of time and patience. Also to me it looks like there is a lot less loot. (Before the latest version) I remember once with my mate trying to loot Berezino at night. We looted it 3 times, each after restart and didnt found any weapon or anything useful at all. But I see they have changed loot tables, so dunno how it looks now. But I really like how zombies behave, they are a lot bigger threat. No more losing zombies in the bushes so easily and you get like 50 zombies on heli crashes. You will die by zombies a lot.
It's just not that exciting anymore. Although me fooshi trickster played like approx 2 hours today and it just seemed like less fun, probably cause we hung around the coast trying to fix heli and failed but yeah w/e. I rather play in a tight squad ish thingy. Like wasteland but in dayz. Otherwise fuck this game.
It wasn't fun cause I wasn't there! Working on getting white listed while juggling my kids and wife and work. Ugh hard to game nowadayz.
Corpse, is it true that you can only become an ATC guy if you're in Starcraft 2 Diamond league? Also, it reminded me just how time consuming DayZ is. In a night I can get 2-3 Dota games in no problem, but I can very easily spend 3 hours on DayZ and accomplish absolutely nothing. I'll try again tomorrow.
I see what you did there. I liked it. So I heard all the cool kids are playing again. How long till standalone? Trying to decide if I should reinstall it and get back into it or wait, I have started on a lot of games I bought months ago and I don't know, if I start playing DayZ again I'll just be on it all the time.
I found me a rifle and a bunch of supplies on some random corpse but didn't get to play with anyone as I came home too late. Next time something gets organised I'll make it though
I got really depressed last night about what happened. We got on the server first, found a heli, gathered parts. But we were split up over the map. Paradox and Fooshi were really unarmed. I saw a guy camping the chopper so I took some shots with this SVD I found. The new weaponry has totally different scope setups and zeroing, I couldn't land a single shot on him. Then his friend fucked me from behind. These guys camped the chopper until one of them eventually managed to fix it up. Then our 2 hours of hard work was gone in a few seconds. That made me a sad panda. I know DayZ does this a lot but I hadn't had it happen in a while so it kind of hurt. I'll try to get back into it but it really will need a few of us if we're going to accomplish anything. We might have a Ural if it didn't get stolen overnight.
Well I never heard of Starcraft 2 diamond league. Not sure if you were being sarcastic or not lol. Nobody I work wih plays Starcraft or even games for that matter. Losers.... But yea playing dayz for 2 hours Is like playing 15min on normal games.
I just remember reading about a load of people in ATC selection (some guy posting on Reddit I think), and he said that 9 out of the 12 people at the end were all in Starcraft 2 Diamond League, which is like the top league in SC2. Basically, you need mad micro.
