When it comes to player combat, you just need to worry about beating the roll of your opponent. Their bonus stats factor into the roll, but like I said only I know the stats. Of course there are stat requirements, but if they don't meet the minimum required roll it doesn't really matter when it comes to fighting an opponent unless their roll is super low. Then you just need to meet the requirement which is pretty easy to beat unless you are super unlucky. Like if you are trying to do an action that is definitely supported by your class, like entrenching or accuracy bonus it will be pretty easy. But if you are trying to stealth something you would need to do a setup. You can just ninja everything unless you are a scout. Example Defend position here, (next turn) Hide in a bush or tree line. Scouts are the only ones who can turn invisible the other classes need to improvise with the environment. But if somebody is in your square chances are they will spot you easily.
