I officially deny you the right to remake this or any map that others have posted here, without given permission from the original author in this thread. There, now please, make an original map.
I honestly don't know why you would want to do anything with this map, it's like money with bridges running perpendicular.
doesn't matter now anyway, the version that's out will cause people to time out and or just loose connection. Several glitches in it and what not Put mine int he Recycle Bin, might as well close the thread
Its fine by me, im rather ashamed of how the map looked (it was more a scetch "can i make an empiresmod map that is both fun, open for tanks, and tactical without using displacements?" thingy, i currently know way more about mapping, and would never even dare to releace anything remotely LIKE this any more. drummerx gets all rights and priviledges concering remaking or adapting the map from me, as does anyone else who wants it. (but beware that i do intend to play the new maps ) btw, had good times at the empiresmod forum... im feeling quite nostalgic now.
It would be a shame if that map died. I haven't played it on a server properly, but I tested it alone and I think it's a great map.
The map already died, but some people are going to revive it, concider it as sketchwork it was intended as sketchwork anyway. Btw, this is the last version of this map i ever produced, (never posted online) for the ones who want it http://rapidshare.com/files/135806940/emp_red_alert.rar was trying something out with tubes and the likes to cheer up its look, but got bored of it and then finally quit on it dont know what works and what doesnt, since it was really long ago
Yeah man, I'll check out this version and see if i need to add or change anything to the version i created and thanks for the approval. Tried to keep it pretty much the same you had it, just fixed a few bugs and glitches here and there. And added Water, actually looks pretty good.
