It plays really well, so well that it warrants a b2 with a little more pretty :p The hills around the edge need some variation in height, a waterfall or a break in the hills near the water would be nice, and the ruins could do with some more detail. Oh, and detailsprites everywhere obviously. :p The hills really need to stop being the same height.
compare it to the higher end of empires maps: most of the reworked officials. then tell me that raiders is finished.
im not sure if I quite understood that the way you meant it, but anyway I got 1 post that says its good. More than willing to let some touch up go on the map, specially if its someone else that wants to do the prettying up
Can you guys release screenshots of what bits of the map need details, so that we can actually provide some kind of paintovers with suggestions maybe? And even further down the road maybe even static meshes/textures for you to use?
My entire map is COVERED IN BEIGE! Srsly the entire thing is the colour of my bedroom carpet, very unappealing.
Which map of mine? I mean this map, I'm not making a map, this entire map is the colour of my bedroom carpet, I suppose my inflection doesn't carry over the internet. To be honest it's more a problem with deserts than anything, or at least deserts that aren't full of interesting things like mysterious temples and sandworms and people with glowing blue eyes.
Keep in mind guys that this map was just a proof of concept for keef, he didn't mean it to be the next tropic vendetta or something like that, although i'm sure he's making a second look at since its grown popularity
