kk, the txt file for the minimap isn't loading properly for some reason. I'm going to put it up unzipped this time, so see if it's the compression that's the problem.
The text file is fine, you forgot a res file and drummer made one there but he fucked it up. But your .vmt file is wrong.
The map has bugs... If you drive over the bridge near the BE bunker you get stuck if you have a heavy or medium. Solution: Higher the height of the buildable bridge. The minimap is screwed up, rivers aren't displayed but the shadows of the hills and mountains are. Solution:"Make a new minimap and put the shadows off with sv_cheats 1 on when playing as a spec and making a screenshot. The light in the bunkers sometimes doesn't work. It will screw up, and when placing Cameras, Walls, Turrets or Ammo crates in them they will apear grey. My opinions: Map feels somewhat empty to the east. Add some trees and more bushes, this goes for the entire map. Maybe you can add a building like a bunker to the far east in the middle at the big hill. It would fit there. Map needs some eyecandy. Same as above, but this goes for the entire map. It's a nice map but it could use some more buildings and plants. Espacialy next too resource spots and roads. "AMBUSH" I like it, the map feels nice.
I'm working on the east. the corners will be slightly more flat, as well as a sort of fort for both sides. the oposite side of either bunkers will also be flattened out. I'm also working on the 3d sky. As far as the bugs, we hadn't had any problem with 10~ heavies fighting over the bridges, send me a pic and I'll see about fixing it.
under what circumstances? while you are driving? when you get out and back in? I need some information on what exactly happened.
Just when driving over it with a fully loaded tank BE heavy tank. It would for some reason just shut down. I dunno what happend exactly, all I know is that when you drive over it with a heavy vehicle it the engine simply stops working.

Adding some nodraw inside the displacements to help with the lighting, and also repositioned the lighting. Need to work on some cube maps and such, and get the minimap working again, but other than that, it's coming along.

Updated first post again with some info about what's going on with the map. Anyone who wants the current working version, I can send you the latest compiled version if you want to give any thoughts or suggestions. I can figure out gameplay, but getting the right amount of cover and such is much more difficult. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Alright, i went ahead and put out the files for beta6, just because it was so much better and I'm running out of thoughts on things to do. that was fast... is this rotation worthy? or would you just like another playtest?
