Is that HDR in the first shot, or env_glow? Looks sweet either way. All I can see to change from the screenshots would be to blend the cliff into the grass on top more smoothly. Downloading now...
You need to add an emp_batos.res file. I added it on my server so it should host the dowloads properly (except that bugged dl status bar of hl2....). If you want to do a really good service you should add a http server package too. That means: Replace the bsp file with its bsp.bz2 zip version. Replace any texture vtf file with its vtf.bz2 zip version. Currently im using the following packing programm in order to build bz2 files: http://www.7-zip.org -Its very small on hd. -You can select the compression level and the library size for bz2 files. -And using it via rightclick plugin in windows. -It can be used without any commandline. Im going to take a look on your map later.
You can get HDR in earlier version too you know... It is the vehicle and building models that screw up not the landscape. Also I don't see any vehicle or building models in the screenshot.
no compiling isn't the problem but rendering the models right with the lighting effect.. The models go all black and shiny :/
I've never seen this map. If the mapper has abandoned it I'd be willing to bring it up to snuff. My map is done so I need something to do!
only got the bsp here and i think this was pickajoe's so you'd have to get his approval first (or so cyber will say)
