Yer fucking stupid. Centre is balanced fighting whilst if u have centre and u fight against the other team your in the disadvantage cause the distal side of the tank bariere thing is at a disadvantage to fight against the proximal side. So you can make a comeback.
Look whos talking. Unless your teammates are retarded, being in the mid is a clear advantage. You can turn around and hightail out of there. If the enemy drives over the ramp, its do or die. That and they have to usually run a gauntlet of turrets/mines as well. You also have probably have those gayass lvls3 on towers. Another thing is, when fighting near the entrances, you only have one ref exposed. Your enemy has one ref you can easily snipe out and another one thats only a little bit harder. Have fun makign a tankback with no res.
I personally would prefer to play canyon and/or coast instead of crossroads. Or better yet, play canyon on 1st round, and coast or mvalley second round. If it's a tie by the 3rd round, then we can do crossroads. I don't see why we have to play the same map every round. Quite frankly, it's a tradition that I don't mind seeing go away. Anyways, the roster report for Conscripts should hopefully be finished today. I still need to recruit some subs/backups. Those interested, please let me know in this thread or on the steam group.
Anything, just don't go overboard. NExt time you swing by Poland or when Trickster finally hosts Empirescon, the winner gets the dessert.
God you are fucking stupid. I said if you fight proximal side of barier to distal side of barier you are in advantage, ofcourse if you have the lesser part of the mid so not towers you are in clear disadvantage. Ya dumbass.
Let's keep the trash talking in the designated trash talking thread please. We need to stay on topic and talk about ice cream.
Full rosters have been released and the first post of the thread has been updated. Captains and respective team members, please try to get your teammates into the steam group so they are informed of the time and will receive any urgent reminders on the scrim time. Thank you and see you on the battlefield. ~Lawliet
No. Crossroads main base is one of the hardest main bases to attack. The tickets for both team are pretty low, that means you "only" have to stop(compulsively) your team from wasting tickets to have a possible comeback in the end.
Using complex language to someone who is not a native speaker is not an intelligent thing to do. Also using complex language to show off your intelligence is pretty lame. I don't really agree, I mean in comparison to other maps, I've commanded and played many more that turned around a lot easier, and more often. In crossroads, there's less ability to flank an opponent which is a large part of the gameplay in Empires. But I'm pretty confident you can find a way :p
The map has been decided. emp_crossroads will be played for all 3 rounds. The last round there will be a coin flip in which the winner of the coin flip will decide which side to play on. Thanks again for your cooperation. ~Lawliet
