    A preliminary list of changes I'll make are these. Note that due to the fact that I'm 2 brushes off the brush limit already, I will have to make the buildings models rather than brushes, using nodraw's for collisions (faster, occluding). This will give me a whole lot more flexibility, aswell as giving mappers pre-built structures to throw around. I'm not sure about rooftops yet. Nothing pisses me off more than some asshole ruining a perfectly good ground assault by camping on a roof and picking you off on the ground. I think the opening up of current buildings should help with this, while still allowing a street guy to toss some grenades and ruin your parade.

    -more street cover - crates, burnt out vehicles
    -accessability through buildings throughout the entire level via blown up holes between walls and such. some could be constructed at the start of the map and require and engy to decontstruct them. streets below accessable through open windows or blown-out walls.
    -limit to lvl1 turrets?
    -clean up map vis, seal up holes/exploits

    First of all, this map is unplayable on a 32 player server. Seriously, I think the team should do some coding and make it impossible to run this map on a server with more than maybe 20 players.

    The map is not much more than a long corridor. Long corridors rarely make fun gameplay, despite the nice textures, skybox and lighting. It's absolutely essential to give this map several routes. I'm sorry to say this, but a totally linear multiplayer map, especially as cramped as this one, was not a very bright idea.

    As I said before, limiting turrets is not the answer. In the games i've played so far, the turrets rarely even get built, let alone get to level three. Just too many grenades and mortars.

    why do capture the flag maps need to be so literal? IE do we really need to capture flags, look at how other games do this.

    this map is very boring. It lasts far far far too long on small servers.

    I am no fan of anything outside of resource based maps so I refrain from playing these when possible, since all other HL mods are more fun when you strip out the vehicle/commander/RTS game.

    Maybe we don't NEED flag maps, but there are peole who think they are fun. Now you my friend, definetly don't NEED to play them if you don't take a liking to them.

    Duke, you've got the right idea. Nay, you have captured the will of the masses. I have but one thing to say, and that is don't restrict turrets. You could have restricted arty on escort, but instead a few walls and ceilings fixed that completly. I'm sure once more pathways have opened up on the map turrets will be less of an issue. If they still cause problems, put MORE pathways up. Only once drastic revisions to the map have been completed should changes to the gameplay itself be attempted.

    Everytime I try to join a server playing this map, or even create my own server, I get kicked to the desktop. I usually get to press ok on the "Message of the day" window, and sometimes see kills listed, but it just get very laggy and jumpy and I can't even remain in the server for more then 10 seconds when the map is in play.
