[I should probably stick some angel smiley in this post somewhere...]
Mining portholes isn't as irritating as planting a lvl3 turret on top of it :D

I've blocked off the entry to the sewers once, when a teammate needed health he popped under it and i healed him.
If anybody would try and get up, he'd have to deal with the radar first, and i can see if it's under attack.

Not always, at one point there's a one direction porthole, for NF it's an advantage.

btw solo killer, if you don't already know, then the BE's third spawn point is bugged because it allows you to spawn there when the other team has the center.

I think dizzyone told me that some time ago, since it's already fixed.

    EDIT: Here's a changelog:
-Moved around some of the sewer entrances
    -Sewer grates no longer respawn
-Added a new flag in the house (now called Refugee House) after the first cappoint for the Imperials, right before middle
-Moved NF flag 2 to the house on the corner wih the 2 sewer entrances and the building connecting to the sewers
    -Removed some unneeded flags
-Fixed bugs with being able to spawn even when the enemy controls the flag right after the last captured flag
    -Increased skybox height
    -Increased maximum viewable distance
-Added info_player_start to retain support for Gmod 10
-Added clip brushes to all rooftops
    -More stuff

People were annoyed by them respawning, and when they always kept on respawning just as i was about to enter the sewers, i just decided to remove the respawning.

If it respawned while you were there, it was REALLY irritating. but otherwise, it was nice in my opinion. sure, leave it out. but if there's a way that it can not respawn if there is a person nearby, which I'm fairly sure could be done, that that would be awesome. seriously awesome.

It is possible, but the entity that can do it won't work in Empires. I think it's because of the lag it causes between server and client.

pshhhh trivial concerns! Respawning grates is key, because it lets you know who's broken through behind you.

Don't like it respawning? Pistol whip it!

I think it's good, the noise of the last grids allowed for no easy sneaking which was annoying, now people will have to watch their backs more and it makes the sewers a more viable route.
Can I also point out that yesterday I got bored and jumped on top of the APC at BE spawn and noticed that the turret had no collision mesh/box.
