Since several people have asked for a higher skybox in district, i want everybody's opinion on it. Do you want the skybox height increased for easier mortar and grenade usage?
Yes just maybe give the BE a place to spawn inside so they can get morter spamed on there last flag becaause its exposed. Always anoyed me I couldnt morter over the buildings. Maybe move the sewer entrances to inside the buildings where the last flag spawns are. Sorry at work and tired please say so if Im not making any scence.
Yes exactly as the last NF flag does provide protection. Maybe just have it in another building thats enterable like the one on the corner.
Raise da roof! the low ceeling mostly bugs me in the mid flag, when attacking as NF; To reach the boxes with it you have to aim high, so high that the shell dissapears... I wanna do arty style shots where I shoot straight into the air and it still will hit me in the head :D
You can't spawn people in an APC, unless Krenzo codes in an entity for the APC and for players to spawn in that APC. The skybox under the map was taken away, reducing visleafs, but the 3D skybox won't be removed. Magic edit: I've increased the skybox height by 256 units, if this is enough it'll stay at that, if not, i'll increase it 128 units. If only an area of the map has problems, then only that area will be modified.
since this is about district, I'd like to add that brenodi spawn at the wrong flag when capturing the 2nd flag from their side (they spawn right there, they're supposed to spawn one back like all other flags) and view distance is still too low, just a bit over half of the longest street, this should be doubled, its the smallest map and it has the lowest view distance, I can understand it being low the way the map was before, but now there is no reason to save fps on view distance.
Yes it is highly anoying to be getting hit by a lvl 3 turrent that you can barly see... Why I like the sewers.:D
:D its nice to turret spam the sewers! People never expect turrent down there! (nor mines on the streets)
I expect mines everywhere... the problem is when some smart ass mines all the port holes so when someone comes up they blow up due to not being able to see the invisible mine. thats sooo evil.
