We are just a couple thousand nerds away from sekrit things. Basically, free shit for us if you join the group, it costs nothing and you can leave it after the 18th.
I thought you gave up on pd2?! We are so doing a dw run of the new heist, Hotline Miami. It's got to be their best one yet. The second day is an amazing. It has something to do with the incoming Hoxton heist.
No. I refuse to play with people that use HoxHud, shoot civvies and so on. I'd rather look for people that don't cheat in pub games. I may have given up on you nerds, but I can always enjoy the game on my own without the fun spoiling shit. And the more things the game has, the better.
Shoot civvies? I bet you love Youzy then! I'd you're looking to solo some loud dw, check out the stuff by evadablemoxie. He's literally inhuman (and he's totally active on the pd subreddit!).
I literally don't look for that. And YouzY has a special place in my heart, but I still have a really hard time with civ massacres.
I never got why people would just cheat and kill everything in 1 second, it removes all challenge and thus all reason to play. The only real time I shoot civvies is bank heist because I don't know of anyway to actually stop the tellers, they always just push the damn button even with a high threat weapon in their face. Oh wait, does sparty use lame stuff like hox hud?
Spartaphilosophy accepts Hoxhud. I accept that, but I don't accept playing with people using HoxHud :p You can actually shout them down, the way we used to do it was: the first person to go in balls to the wall style would sneak inside the teller room and shout them down, then once people freak out everyone else comes in. The tellers lie down without moving from the spot if you spam F. If you try to go from the front of the bank (shouting through the window) they will trigger the alarm. Same goes for shooting one and shouting at the other, they charge that button. All in all, it's safer to shoot the tellers. But it's not the right thing to do.
Looks like it's done. I can't wait for the hoxton heist. The amount of content for this game is ridiculous. I still haven't beaten hotline Miami on dw. I'd love to blame my shitty pub crews, but it's also a really tough heist.
I can't believe they want 7$ for one mission, and a shitload of stuff we need to unlock with the crappy progression system.
If you don't want to pay and support the developers, then don't. It takes like ten minutes to install one of the countless dlc hacks. Payday 2 was written in lua and it's p2p, so there's literally no security. That allows for cool mods like hoxhud, pocohud, goonhud and countless other unnamed tweaks, but it also means that cheating is just as easy. Payday 2 is a beautiful experiment in how a game could basically be "open source" and still profit its developer. Time will tell if the devs earn enough to continue to function.
I got pissy when I discovered that the weapons were not worth it. And then they kept doing it. I would buy it if they had a new hotline Miami track to match the mission.
You're insane. Snipers and LMGs are basically mandatory on dw. I only ever run a thanatos/r93 and judge on any heist. Sniper rifles are stupidly op. not even a good shot. And in general, there's pretty serious power creep in all of the dlc. For example, the new hotline Miami dlc has the best smg.
