I was playing modern warfare 2 with my cousin, I don't remember seeing one female in the whole game. I guess it's alt reality US where the army isn't equal opportunity. There are many things with homo-erotic undertones in mass media culture. So what if some things are kinda gay. That may be how their intended or it may be how they are seen.

Easy enough, but not in so far as that if they're three pixels high on the screen i can tell them apart instantly. At long range, infantry is just 'infantry'. Obviously you can tell that shit apart, jackass, but as far as making it EXTREMELY EVIDENT AS AN ELEMENT OF GAME DESIGN, empires is no tf2.
um yea my lady friend is active duty. she doesn't get to say "time out. violence against women." when she's being shot at. That may well be the reason females are left out of video game armies, but it just strikes my as silly and immature.
Women aren't in many fps games for two reasons mainly: 1. Historically, video gaming has been male dominated (and still is...and I can use historically because video gaming has been around for 30 years now, yay! :p ). 2. You have to do more work (really, although it could be argued it isn't much). Tbh, I recently found out that we don't allow women as front line infantrymen (no pun intended) here in the UK yet. They can be out there, getting shot at, just not really supposed to be front line engagement troops (although ofc they end up in situations like that anyway). I was kinda wtf'd by that actually.
