control both tiberium expansions and the medium ai is too easy =.=... They keep trying to use one of the expansions as a base, regardless of the fact you are killing every new built structure they pop out and have turrets and a base of your own there already. Someone beat it on hard mode, I dont even want to bother to try.
EXACTLY December, I finally beat a medium by quickly expanding to the 2nd tiberium area with the little expand-vehicle, and the AI put a outpost in the middle of my base, and dropped a refinery and 3 turrets amidst my forces. Lol, stupidity.
just had a cool victory against a med; i had to survive 2 ion cannon strikes. plus: is it just me, or is there no actual strike bit of the ion cannon? i'm playing it on ultra graphics n all.
strike bit? You mean the beam from space? If so then it only exiss for a very infitecimal period of time and easily missed if you're not looking for it. It's barely visible, even when you do see it
Meh, the diffrent AI's are neat. Turtle ends up nuking constantly, balanced uses like one wave (major attack) like mid-way in game, but other then that not much. Rush probably just spams inf, and the Steamroller probably just builds up one huge enormous force... and then 'steamrolls' through your base :D I'm sure a network of Sonic Emitters could stop anything... (with plenty of Pitbulls and AA turrets of course :D)
I meant against the Steamroller AI :D Not against players, lol. If I was VS'ing online I wouldn't use turrets really at all, it would be countless APC's, Firehawks, and pitbulls.
I got completly destroyed by a hard AI that managed to get about 40 scorpion tanks before i had much defence. it was really just my selfishness in trying to control both tiberian fields, when in the end i couldn't hold either. I also then had a really good game against a hard balanced AI, where we were exactly level exept that i had an ion cannon, and i was generally pushing him back. i was gunna win, but i need sleep and there's no save button
I'm pretty sure having the starter field and another field is good enough... just be sure to have lots of power in your 2nd base so if you get nuked you can recover fast. I'm not sure; maybe I wasn't spending fast enough to fight a Hard AI (as I haven't yet), but I had at least $15,000 like all the time, regardless of what forces I made :D
Not out here until Friday. Looking forward to it =D Though I probably won't be playing online until 1.2 when they do all the balance changes (nod is pretty crippled late game)
I just finished registering online. I had to mess around with the graphics a bit, it put the game on super low graphical settings by default, I eventualy got it decent looking & playable, Well I'm off to continue the Nod missions.
Hey everyone, I'm back after a long break from Empires (and might take another short one after once I buy C&C3:TW Kane Edition) but does anyone know how "battle worthy" the Scirn are? Their main weapon looks like it will be the most devastating unit on the battlefield along with that round unit (the one thats like the blimp from C&C:RA2.
Bah, that was not as great as all the wait intended that game to be. Feels like an old modification of Deus Ex with graphical incriments. Multiplayer has no coop or bot play
