Actually, this reminds me the xm8 rifle. Go look it up, it's shiny.
Here its a bit slimmer. I added a ruger 9mm as reference for the size.
Looks badass Mayama, good work. One question, how did you do the grip?
its a pretty simple mesh with some extra loops for smoothness and
the whole thing is turbosmoothed to look round. I use that supersmooth
grip to bake a normal map and apply it to the unsmoothed grip that has
like 80 polys.
I didnt really detailed it because you will never really see it.
Well that reminds me that I forgot to model the a shell/bullet.

Uhm i made a box, added some loops (more polys) and pushed those around til it was fine.

Ah ok. So it's like SMG size, I felt like it was closer to rifle size.
Then I think the handles work just fine.

I think it looks great and id love to see it put in game but there have been so many other good things in this art forum that have never been applied that im doubtful.
You could try adding a foregrip, that could make the front part look a little better when the hands are added.
Changed the silhuette a bit:
IMO those changes are better than the original.
I tryed almost everything what zenarion did exept the folding stock and it looked silly in 3D.
So i think the model needs a little more tweaking who is going to do animations?
Yeh, I told Mayama to do that but I couldn't find a pick, nor did I know what it was called, but that's what I meant when I said "Do a hollow stock."
