Binding more controls by default

Simple really.

When a new player download Empires there are some commands that aren't bound to a key.

These are:

Which of these keys should be bound. And what should they be bound to?

Personally I think they should all be bound as default with the exception of maybe the squad skills

also... you NEED to bind the perma kill. STOP FUCKING REVIVING ME!!! I AM TRYING TO SPAWN AT BASE!!

 

I use \ for suicide and / for perma kill.

I quite like completes suggestions. Only real problem I have (im not a huge fan of mouse 3), is the suicide being beside the windows key. Do you never have a problem with that in a rush? i.e. miss clicking?

 

I just found out there even IS a windows key on the right side of the spacebar, so i don't think that's a commonly used key.

 

i honestly never had a problem with it. even if you're killspawning, its not a key you "need" to press as fast as possible. the only situation i see that happening is if you're trying to deny a person a kill by suiciding, in which case you totally deserve getting taken out of the game.

 

When I want to troll you, I'd squad revive you until our base is down.

Also, why would you guys want to bind suicide?
It's not taking you 1 sec to "~ kill enter ~".

 

I use it all the time. Hit it and then type keywords for the app you need and hit enter.

My personal fav is WIN,"snip",ENTER to open Windows 7's Snipping Tool for quick screenshots. It works for just about everything else.

Also, WIN+R lets you run shit. That's handy.

WIN+L locks your PC.

 

I always have suicide as k, cause k for kill in console.

 

Yes, i use Win+D, Win+E and Win+X all the time, but i was talking about the RIGHT win key, not the left one. BTW, i realized i use right alt all the time when making €€€€€€€€€€. So don't discriminate euros plx.

I use AltGR for that. But also, I don't think full size map needs binding. It's the same as the spawn map without the spawns on, so I think that's a bit confusing. That should actually be taken out of the game entirely.

Yeah trickster, I was considering just binding it to the same as the spawn map if thats possible.

Suicide: * (I tried rALT but on my keyboard atleast this is read as control)
Left Squad Skill: N/A (suggestions?)
