Ok, i tested it self, and now i know: the NF AR is ultimate pwning !! But it would be better if you can whip with the NF AR#2! (or give it a zoom >P)
I say improve rate of fire of the NF Assault Rifle, along with magazine size (50 or so), and leave accuracy as it is. Give NF a middle-ground between a HAR and HMG for the regular assault rifle.
Increasing ROF won't put more bullets on a target. It will just put the same number on faster. The problem right now is it is comparativly useless over a long distance, increasing ROF and magazine won't really change that.
Isn't that the point? To kill faster? ROF over accuracy keeps the rifles different, but makes them more of a match to eachother.
If ROF grows, then accuracy decreases (appallingly fast). I've tried to balance the weapons on the R&D server, you should check it out when people are playing.
Didn't notice much of it, but I noticed an increase of me getting killed by them. But then again, it's bound to happen. I'll run accross a whole street on District to revive one person.
In what way the NF AR fails to deliver its hard to hard to call it anti infantry since it isnt even really good at just that killing infantry whiles Brenodis counterpart exels at it, if anything the NF AR is underpowered not vice versa that the Brenodi is to powerful...
I think all the guns accuracy and dammage are fine the way they are. I'd rather the devs focus their attention to... other things.
Well, on BSID R&D it's a bit better, but go on any other server and try to kill even an Engineer with the NF AR, it's a perfect match with a SMG, which is sad.
Except for Long Range, which the BE AR can do, the NF AR is actually very effective. and for close range, it is even better. how? i mean, they both kill in about a second, right? except, at close range, BE AR can kill 2 - 3 people. where as the NF AR? 4 - 5 people, without being lucky.
