Ok so I seriously gave the game a try. Never played BF3 so I don't know what exactly has been carried over. I noticed instead of Medic they have Support who gives out ammo, so now the Assault gives out heals and revives. Was mildly fun. I also like how you can spawn straight into a vehicle, and I think that deters people from waiting at spawn for a vehicle to come around and instead they just go and do something else like, idk, win the game. By reading this, I am guessing EA is willing to stop being a spoiled brat and work with the steam box. Unless they plan to do a origin box...
Necroing this to see if anyone is interested in some squad play for this game. It has stabilized quite a bit since that beta. I will say whenever I play this I always have high hopes for the team play aspect, but I always get this feeling that everyone plays the game like they are the only real human and everyone else is bots. The game itself is fun, but I really want to play this with a coordinated team for once. If you do like the bf series but don't have bf4, we can always try bf3 or bad company 2. I'd say 2142 or 1942 but I think servers are dead at the moment. Add WaltzingWillow if you want to play some fun action.
Yeah I checked you're right. I was certain 2142 was was like empires in that for half the day the servers are empty, but here I stand, wrong as can be.
