    You run up to a zombie, go into crouch position and start gently stroking them thighs until it reacts and jumps you. :D

    Like real life. This isn't Empires. You get hungry, you get sick, you bleed, you break bones.

    You start with basically nothing every time you die. You need to find supplies, but also stay safe because other players will kill you for your supplies.

    Oh and there's zombies everywhere.

    and the "best" you can turn your head independend from your body and weapon. i never got used to the controlls of arma. it plays more like mechwarrior then what i am used to from FPS.

    I made myself two working headtrackers, that work surprisingly well in arma2 and all the mods. They are fucking awesome when choppering around, but start to annoy me in dayz, cause there's not much gain in it from using numpad or ALT+Mouse when you are on foot 99,5% of the time.

    btw. I got myself a YACHT in dayz ..

    ..but it goes only 14 Km/h and gulps booze at the speed of spike and It may be gone by now, thx to server restart :/

    It's better to use the num keys to look around instead of alt+mouse, whilst on foot that is.

    i didnt buy it. i own arma1 as "low budget game"-version, dunno how much ive payed like 5-10€ years ago, and i borrowed arma2 from a friend ...

    Suicide at 4k? OMG I was down to 6.9 blood once, that's right 6.9 not 6.9k with a broken leg, and only a hatched, still took 2 bloody zombies with me because some guy decided to run past me with 20 zombies behind him bahahaha ... then I died proudly.

    just played a game with trickster kane fooshi ends and we raided airfield with trickster leading us, so fooshikane and ends are going to south rax whilst trickster covers them with sniper, middle of the raid trickster goes afk whilst they die, then I'm left with trickster not knowing where I am and we barely get out. yeay for that

    I didn't go AFK, I had a power cut. I can assure you I never left my keyboard for the entire duration of the power cut (the 2nd of the night).

    i only saw some guy rolling around on the airfield but had fooshi infront of me (or fooshi idk anymore, he was bleeding and crouching so I got up to put a bandage on him while he could still fire, the moment I got up I got shot right before fooshi, bad timing ..., still, hopeless situation

    and it's actually a derived version of murphys law, murphy only stated that if something can be done wrong, it will be done wrong (by someone), but trusting your teammates to that power company clearly falls into this category thus it's all tricksters fault :D
