About the squad leader comment - I fall into line if someone else is taking charge. I would follow anyone who was actively leading. I don't even consider leading to be my biggest asset - I just do it when nobody else is competent.
Why are all these teams either: -Full of bad players in classic empires -Full of skilled lonewolf players who dont do shit as a squad in a classic game -Conspicuously lacking the most reliably effective players in classic games or all three? could it be that most of you guys barely play and fap to district?
I think most of the clanners have picked clanners. And clanners usually lone wolf in public because most people are 'tards. Don't judge a book by its cover.
I know for a fact that all my choices play well in a squad if the skill is there to go with them. Other people do in fact do squadwork like your kilo squad, we just don't make a big deal out of it because we don't find it difficult to do something "amazing", we just get the fuck on with it, half of the time in silence. I've taken Foxtrot out on a map against a heavily stacked team (12 clanners vs 5 iirc), and just gone straight across the entire map without having to respawn once, until getting to their main, taking it, catching their comm and winning the game. We did this all without saying a word. Notice my submissions contain EPIC, and a few BSID guys picked a lot of BSID people. These are people we know to be able to work outside of their pub standards. tl;dr Kilo squad isn't nearly as special as you think it is.
kilo is pretty much two people and whoever. kilo usually helps teams solidify team cohesion, especially among pubs, where most leet squads are mostly muscle. considering that we've done this for like five years, it isn't particularly special, but it's pretty cool and worth noting.
I have done the same with whiskey squid million times while everyone on whiskey is drunk. Best thing about whiskey squad is that if we fail (which we never do ) we wont remember it. (too inabriated to remember). tl;dr whiskey always wins no matter if you think it loses .
holding off the sbend in slaughtered into mid-late game using only infantry it's clear that you don't play the game
Nothing wrong with base bitches. Sometimes I'm in the mood for building walls, every commander needs some. Spelling out such things as "Napalm sucks" in the sand is every engineers dream.
