When do you think are the first airplaines implemented and when does the new patch (1.06) become released?:D

I'm thinking 1.06 this weekend but I'm nobody official.

 

Airplanes are getting closer. They're still about a month away but definitely being worked on.

 

Not more than a month? So it will be (more or less) finished together with the new models/animations duke is working on?

That WOULD be one hell of a patch !

 

lol Now it's got me wondering what the hell is going on with 1.06 that it's taking longer then others if it's not aircraft. Maybe a bunch of new maps?

 

This thread has allready been done , completly , theres at least 13 pages of everything to do with aircraft and when there comming out + artistic impressions of what people think they look like.
isn't there something , i read somewhere , check whether threads on the same subject have been started.

What really is going on is that since i wont krenzo so mutch at dogfighting right now, he needs to figgure out a way to code in a secreat weapon of death to instakill everyone

Krenzo is also going to add more lag then the current version

I should definitely clarify things. The one month away is as far as coding is required. Time needed to finish the rest of the aircraft models and art could prolong the time before aircraft are officially included in the game.

 

Can we have flying scooters instead? Or jeeps?

But it is a bit dishartening to hear that the code alone is a month from completion..

Maybe when the aircraft are finaly included the version will be 2.0 To celebrate its release :D

A question: How big is the team working on empires? (Coding, art, animatoion)

 

well, before these new animators came onboard it was me and Duke on models/art (Duke the more tallented) and Krenzo with code. Doobie makes maps, Steve helps us, Im sure Ive forgotten another mapper.

THats pretty much it but now we have two new animators as well.

 

Wow considering the size of the team, you guys did an unbelivable amount of work... I think that earns you all a yearly supply of cookies :p
