    Yeah, I think the game needs more accurate weapons with not so much damage... high damage weapons with fuxx0red accuracy are just moot...

    And if you give the shotgun to the scout, please give it to the engineer too... and instead of SMG2 make SMG1 more accurate and add sights... THX

    Wtf, SMGs aren't to supposed to be accurate.

    Engineers and Scout need sometihng to DEFEND them selfs at close range, not snipe out rifleman.

    Shotgun should be added to both the Scout and Engineer arsenal,
    SMG1 Higher rate of fire, less accuracy and less damage.
    SMG2 Higher rate of fire, extremly poor accuracy, average damage.

    I mean, poor accuracy but super fast.

    So it's useless ath long range but it will kill you in a matter of mili-seconds at close range.

    Like 10 shots per second with SMG 1
    5 Shtos per second with SMG 2

    SMG 1, Average Accuracy
    SMG 2, Poor Accuracy

    SMG 1, Low Damage
    SMG 2, Average DAmage

    gtfo, smg's are quite accurate at medium range, have low blowback.
    At longer range smg is inaccurate due to pistol rounds, like 9 mm.

    And a SMG1 that is even LESS ACURRATE what? I really dislike weapons like that... I always feel like such an idiot when I have to run around with guns such as this in games... when being alert and a good shot DOES NOTHING because your bullets go everywhere.

    This is the worst feeling ever, playing engineer because you want to help your team, but then you get these guns that shoot like they were assembled by mentally handicapped toddlers and get steamrolled by other classes' highly accurate and effective tools of war.

    That because the way accuracy is handled is fucking ridiclious in empires, when proning or crouching you got DA LASER OF DEATH and when standing you cna barely hit anythig,

    Proning and Crouching should have a slight increase in accuracy,
    While proning should give an increase in weapon stability.

    Submachineguns are because of the way they are being build extremly unaccurate, but they fire extremly fast, but because they are quite small they do less damage.
    Making them a perfect close combat weapon and excellent supressive fire at meidum range. But useless at large distances.

    I know the pain Sherbie. You point your gun at enemy in 0.1 second and it doesnt matter, because after 3 shots you hit walls. It kills fun for me. And lying on the ground with BECAR behind wall isn't what i call 'fun'

    I'm not trolling, I'm pointing out basic common sence and facts considering the what weapon the SMG should be.

    At medium range it becomes useless, you could still use burst fire but it would do like "NO damage".

    Right now it owns at long range, I choose accuracy upgrade, I prone or crouch and then I start killing people off.

    SMGs shouldn't be usefull at meidum range either, they are a close range weapon(seriously, they are close range weapons).

    No, if you wan't to kill people at medium/long range you use Asault Rifles.

    Engineers are guys who follow, stay back at the main base or supply the front.
    Not to engage rifleman in total warfare.
    As Engineers do not attack but defend in most cases they need more defensive close combat firepower. More rate of fire for the SMGs and a shotgun.

    well, if you have to prone or crouch before you shoot wouldn't you like that your shot would justify itself and do, say... ...umm - i dunno - 120 damage points? :rolleyes:


    i used to LUV the rifleman and naw iz sux... :verysad:

    I find it funny that when someone suggests a flamethrower people say 'What's the point in a gun that only works at close range in a game like empires?' but when people talk about the SMGs they say 'God they need to be close range otherwise what's the point in riflemen??'
