I've owned an Alienware system before, don't buy it. Alienware builds are generally very shit, and more than likely will be unstable.
Shit, really? Honestly what is the point of pc gaming if you're just going to play popular releases at crap settings. Consoles mean that you can play on a sofa with a nicer screen and sound system etc. I miss the days when console gaming didn't suck. RIP in peace, PS2.
Probably kids that play on their parent's office PC or smart shoppers that don't want to pay 60€ for a single game.
Dual Cores won't play GTA 5 properly. I'd rather use this as: HTPC, ThinClient, Low-End Office PC, ... or Combine 3 of them for VMware training. I just realised the massive pricegap between shitty dualcores and shitty quadcores (I look at INTEL only).
Yeah, when you hear stats about all of these millions of pc gamers, remember that literally 95% of them are pretty peasant tier. I can't make this shit up. If consoles do anything right, they maintain an excellent common denominator. PC gaming is really expensive if you want to go full blown pcmasterrace. We're a little but out of touch with the reality of how expensive it really is.
Cost per wear, my pc is pretty damn frugal. I'm buying a 970 and doubling my RAM next payday but that,s £300 for a 3-4 year uupgrade on something I spend 4 or 5 hours of my day on. That's down from roughly 18.
If it's so damn cheap, why do you need to wait until payday? Bitch, what you spendin all dat cash on?
I'm guessing that the "860" in the description is actually a 860M (the GM107 variant), which is almost identical to the 750 Ti.
It's an 860M+, whatever that means... But I'm confident that it's more our less a 750 ti, perhaps with better binning.
anyways can you open the computer to switch shit out (like that FOUR GIGS OF RAM) or is it like a console. edit: checked, it has extra slots; it actually looks like a worth purchase if you upgrade to 8 gigs.
Really? That's actually not bad then. The 500GB hard drive is also basically disposable, so you probably wouldn't feel bad to fucking scrap that shit and put a $300 for a 1TB SSD into that shit.
LMGTFY see that shit that pops up on the right. $300? Thats too much try half that for a hybrid drive.
Rent, coffee and craft beer. Also my degree and student overdraft. Also the deposit on a house / deposit for a new flat in Edinburgh. Also I just bought a new bike. The cost of commuting once my old bike broke was £35 a week. Also loads of musical equipment. And I go to restaurants lots too.
This thing cant run FMRP on blockland with max settings, thats impossible. Otherwise my PC is crap compared to this, however my next upgrade might be trying to use my 64-bit system correctly. AKA:more RAM. Or a SSD who knows.
