I think he means static shadows of maps are passing through the building, which is really weird looking. I have a feeling it was done like that because otherwise the inside of some buildings wouldn't have any light so it would be hard to see, so map lighting passes through the walls. It's was the easy efficient way of doing it I think. That's just my guess though.
while you can fix the OP issue by changing uv coordinates you cant do shit all about lighting because source. well, maybe you could, but with sources forward rendering architecture youd then bitch about low framerates and turn of shadows.
I thought this was basically a gap in the floor and you could see the base through there. If it's not, my apologies. But still you would need to fix the UVs, nothing you can change here on the material to fix this.
Can we just get a new VF??? It's been years of people not having issues with NF buildings. To tall, they look like crap, misaligned textures. We finally have some modelers that can do some decent work. Why not a new VF and Rax plz.
I have a bit of a soft spot for it as well, though I wouldn't mind an interior cat walk that uses some of that wonderfully large interior and potentially offers roof access. Having shitheads parachute onto the safety of the roofs of nf buildings is no fun.
Also needs a safer place to build. As is 1 nuke pretty much kills everyone in the VF. Unlike BE where they are kind of safe inside.
