i read some things about the rpg not being as good anymore. How about make it so that the first say 10 metres the missles goes VERY fast and then the rocket kicks in and it just flies on like normal. You cannot control it in the first 10 metres but it should make it a lot easier to hit a fast LT. Only it might be a bit lethal against infantry this way, what do you guys think?
I reckon it should spin out of control after a certail distance, making rocket sniping less of an issue. Some more base damage would be nice, too.
In my opinion, there should be two RPGs. The first one is the RPG we currently have, it's guided and does low/moderate damage. The second one needs to be researched, and travels in an arc and does high damage. The first RPG is useful against fast-moving vehicles, while the second RPG is better against slow-moving, larger tanks.
Could someone remind me why we don't want to give the grenadier an AT rifle? I seem to recall it coming up and being shot down before, but I can't remember why.
i would like to see the rocket travel much much faster, and the motor shut off after a certain time so it can't be used to rocket snipe as easily
The main problem with anti-tank classes is that tanks become ALOT stronger once they get some decent armor and a uppgraded chasis while there simply isn't enough uppgrades for grenadiers to keep up. Giving them a straight up buff would make them superior agaisnt tanks early game causing tanks without research to be obsolete. I would like if it was so that grenadiers could apply different researched technologys to their weapons. Like if plasma have been researched you can have plasma rpgs, or if bio was researched, bio rpg etc. That way grenadiers would be able to keep up with the tanks when they got better armor, without being to powerful early game.
change the RPG research from being a dmg boost to allowing grens the ability to use researched missles (with scaled down dmg/ammo/fire rate) in the rpg. imagine a gren with 2-3 nukes and no normal rockets.
Nah, nukes, and possible HE, shouldn't be usable by grenadiers by the simple reason that they are to strong agaisnt infrantery. Another possibility could be that grenadiers rpg dmg is increased by 5-20% for each tier researched(but that wouldn't be as cool as aids rpg :p ).
