Wasn't me actually. I was going to gift it to both Shitstorm and Fooshi when it went to -50%, which I believe it will do, but this other guy bought it them instead. He is quite the bro, but I am a little annoyed. If it was going to end up costing them that much anyway, (as in -20%) I'd have bought it at the start of the sales and just played with you 2 whilst I was in the UK.
I just got Far Cry 2 ($2.49!) and FO3:GOTY ($4.99). Far Cry 2 gets monotonous after a while, but the fire mechanics are worth $2.49 by themselves. I've never seen a game deal with fire propagation better than FC2.
Total spoils are: GTA Complete pack Red Orchestra 2 Splinter Cell Conviction Safe to safe thats me done this year, all for just £12
Far Cry 2 is a great game for insomniac boredom. Just cruise around, killing the locals and setting fire to their shit. I've never actually followed the story, just fucked shit up.
It's cool how weapons like jam and stuff, IEDs look like IEDs and if you fire rpgs with no fuel they just land at your feet. What isn't cool is the fact that the AK-47 jams.
Hey fuckers. I'm here to tell you - don't none of you dare buy me Arma 2, or I will anally rape you. That is all
Vampire the Masquerade is on sale for 5€. Still a pretty high price for a game that old, but it is still the best RPG out there.
Apparantly steam is lieing about saying that you need ARMA 2: CO to play Dayz. From what I read online you can use ARMA2 Free and Operation Arrowhead and still play it fine
It's buggy, it's a lot of hassle, you get low-res textures, and it's really not that much more to just get CO.
Counter Strike: Source 75% OFF! Also we totally increased the initial price of the game lol suk it faggot gamers im gaben huehuehuehuejejejejeje
And I heard that functionality would be removed in a few patches, being an exploit and all. So getting CO would be advisable.
Anyone here who can give a little review of Galactic Civilizations II? The game with its expansions is on sale and has a high metascore, but i never heard of it. Is it like Sins of a Solar Empire?

GalCiv 2 is on a grid, has custom designed ships (using a pretty fun and useful system) which really only comes into play in the 3d space battles.
L4D2 is £3.74 in this weeks midweek madness due to the release of Cold Stream. Due to some complications I can't actually buy it myself. If someone could gift me it and we'll sort something out later, that would be appreciated. I'm not one to usually do this, but the small price I thought wouldn't make too much difference. You can find me on Steam, but if you ignore it I understand. Done.
