I'm confused, are we against enforcing the geneva convention now? Who am I supposed to be angry at right now?!
oh. you mean the last time chemical weapons were used and noone gave a damn (trump included)? thats over 1000 dead in 2013 and nobody wanted to go in or what about in 2009 when israel dropped white phosphorous (which burns your skin to the bone and can poison your breathing) on a UN school. are you saying we should've bombed israel? dont be an anti semite and lol at trump's like of that post because hes too scared to come in with his own opinion also the fucking US doesnt enforce the geneva convention derrrrrrrp
@A-z-K you mean protocol, the convention is this stuff about how to treat combatants and civilians - you know that stuff where you lock people away in cuba without any trial and such scnr i dont see how breaking international law (ie attacking a sovereign state without un resolution - yet again) to enforce international law is good? i also dont see how this promotes the peace process in any way. and ultimatively, the us government of any couleur should just shut up about international law, they only give a shit about it when it benefits their agenda. please first join the international criminal court in den hague, then abide to the international laws you say you value so much, and then only then open your mouth and speak about international law - anything else is hypocritical and damaging.
Ohhhh now I get it, because we didn't do anything last time we shouldn't do anythig this time. Got it. I forgot military intervention is always a bad thing and we should just keep our noses out of everyone elses business. Don't get me wrong I'm not fond of unilateral action but hey whatchagonnado, the worlds a shitty place.
no its only bad when you generally dont give a shit and use "but hurr durr international law" as excuse. it sabotages the whole idea. so far israel said "it was assad", russia said "it was not assad". un says assad, isis, and al nusra potentially could have chemical weapons. enforcing international law is good, throwing cruise missiles around because your poll ratings are low is not. dont get me wrong.
Fuck the police! 1 less weapons cache in the region is a win when there is no real movement on the horizon with diplomacy. I mean we should stop sending weapons too, there is that. I'm not saying fuck it carpet bomb everything but you can't negotiate peace if you don't wave a stick around. As long as you are battering military installations and not hospitals.
thank god we went into iraq thank god we went into vietnam thank god we went into afganistan god bless the worlds police. anybody think they should do a movie about that?
hey guys im pro invading syria even though i was against it before (its because my guy is doing it now when before it was the other guy) there is no way my brain is decomposing
