Joke pics are nice, but it would also be nice if they were a little more relevant to politics instead of just making fun of someone.
The problem is that every relevant political discussion point is automaticly making fun of DT and any republican supporting DT. The absurdity of their "truths"and the sheer stupid are mind boggling. Idiots.
Having the government looking out and protecting those whom elected them and whom they represent and getting rid of those who did not come here for opportunity and instead harm the citizens of the country?
But it doesn't make sense, what happened to the normal law enforcement? Crimes regardless of who commits it should be prosecuted by the law, and I don't really see why if it's committed by an immigrant the victim gets special treatment.
My guess is because the Government was the one who allowed that person into the country, so therefore the government is partially responsible for it? Also, immigrants aren't generally the most well off so if something is done that harms a family they can't really go against the immigrant.
can you reformulate that in a way a non native english speaker (= me) can follow that line of thought?
Government approves immigrants. Immigrants who DO come over are generally not well off and are seeking a better life in America. Immigrant harms an American/kills them, the family goes after the Immigrant for the damages/loss of life, Immigrant just gets deported for being a violent immigrant and family doesn't get anything for what happened. That's the line of thought I am taking on this rather than "HITLERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR"
I mean, I guess that argument could be made but the government didn't approve them to come into the country so there is less liability. And even then it just results in jail time which people find as satisfactory.
Usually deported if found guilty. They lose their status and their green card and can become forcibly deported, so usually little/no jail time if I understand our immigration system. http://immigration.lawyers.com/deportation/non-citizens-who-commit-crimes.html "Immigrants who have permission to live and work in the United States (perhaps as temporary visitors or as lawful permanent residents) who are found guilty of certain crimes risk losing their status and being forced to leave the country. U.S. immigration law contains a long list of "grounds of deportability."
a bit below that, it makes it appear as if its not the case. i would have wondered because everything else would have been nuts - and i would have considered starting a criminal career in the states as there would have barely any risk (jk) "When you're in the United States without a green card or visa, being found guilty of any type of crime means that you must still serve your time in a U.S. jail or prison. When you get out, however, the federal government can legally place you into removal proceedings and ultimately deport you back to your home country."
