lol CPU doesn't matter for battlefield, especially if you have an i7 8 cores. All you need is good graphics card. I ran the beta just fine on my old i7 950, just because I have a 970 GTX.

when I tested it on those sites to see if you can run it before I played in the beta everything came back fine except for my cpu. But it plays fine I just keep settings on low, my vidcard could use upgrading but it's an unnecessary expense at this time for me.

    don't trust shitty websites

Also all battlefields are still basically reskins of the previous ones. So overpriced, even at 20$ off.

You know I can almost understand 60$ games when they have to create a game engine to fit their visions, because that is a lot of work. But They haven't created anything new in the past decade, so fuck Dice.
In fact fuck most 60$ games, and fuck big companies...

    Sorry couldn't help myself...

I agree and wouldn't and didn't pay 60 dollars I bought it on sale awhile ago. It is different than bf4 in some respects, its more infantry based than bf4 but I like bf4 a lot more so far and got that for only 14.99. I am waiting for rising storm 2 viet nam to come out the trailer looks awesome.
I hope the music is included. Like BF2 viet nam

Hey Vicky, what video card do you have? For me BF1 ran much much much worse on low settings than on high or ultra

oh in that case low settings are indeed adviced, I'm right now trying to fix my FPs drops, some maps have frame drops into the low 20s for me no matter what setting :(

I just bought a EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB SSC GAMING ACX 2.0+, even though its a bit old, (I bought mine new not used) I was told its a good gaming card. I should have it on the 14th.

I will see if I can raise the graphics settings in bf1 and how the game looks when I get the new card.
everywhere was selling it for between 350.00-450.00 usd I got it on amazon for 225.00 with free shipping.

wait what, you got a 960 for 225$? I'm used to seeing it for around 150 dollars. I'd double check, that sounds wrong to me. 225 gets you a 1060 which is way newer and much better if you want to stick to nvidia.

You should definitely use https://pcpartpicker.com whenever you want to make a pc component purchase. It lets you sort by price from several vendors, so you know you are getting the best deal you can at the moment.

It's probably this much because it's no longer being manufactured. I mean at release I think it cost only 180$, when I was last looking at gpus it cost around 140-160.

I'm just saying you should consider getting that 1060 if you want to spend that much money, it's like 40% better or something silly. If you want cheaper grab a 470 at like 170-180$, it's nearly the same or better performance then the 960.

GTX 1060 3GB is literally the best option in terms of c/p.

You get like 70~80% performance boost from 1050/960 and the cost is just <50% more.

I am buying the 6GB one by the end of the year.
