First photo = Bristol, Traveling north on this canal. (advert sign on scaffolding says bristol in the url) Second photo = lake district (Windermere lake near Ambleside)
bump! felt like posting a pic i took from awhile ago. heres one from the heart of downtown Montreal (on the side of a popular building) the plaque reads: To the memory of Jefferson Davis, leader of the Confederate States who in 1867 lived at the home of John Lovell, located at this present location. Plaque erected in 1957 by the society of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Whats great about this plaque is that everyone walks past it daily and noone knows about it
Remember your rule of thirds and golden ratio when you take pics in future. It doesn't make any sense but it makes everything ten times better. Note how the 2nd and 2nd from last look like the best framed pictures. edit: for reference
Yeah the photos aren't in chronological order, but I learnt it partway through some of the photos taken there. The one with all the smoke and shit, as well as the one including me aren't ones I took.
Basra. I haven't been any further north than Basra and I'm not sure I'd be comfortable doing that. I've been into Basra a few times and while you're pretty safe, I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable there without my security detail.
i think it's called lemon creek pier or something, it was in one of the pictures you posted earlier in the thread...
