Yea, but whats the business model here? If its a privately owned system, id be ridiculously expensive to just play some hour games once per month or whatever. If its like the arcade place kind of deal, you dont really have much of a demografic really. Paintball guys usually enjoy the outdoors "real" feel of their hobby and arcade base business really dont seem like a good idea to begin with in this age, so youd end up with pricy places that youd visit once in your life out of curiousty.
Theres a ton of applications besides entertainment if you licensed it out but I'm sure there would be no short supply of people willing to put money down for that kind of experience. I'm sure it has some savvy investors and a bright future.
depends. if you are early - or even first - and have a densely populated catchment area, at best with tourism aswell, i can see how it can be a success as arcadey thing, the laser tag comparison probably is best.
Yeah i can actually see it becoming yet another E-porn thing in japan quite easily. I didnt need that image. ````` New attraction ! Love hotels for the Lonery! Only an arm and a leg!
Not for you. Why only Japan? e-fucking will be the future think of all the sexually frustrated weirdos (see above) that won't shoot up high schools. Gun control would work better but I think e-fuckin's a close second. /derail
Corporeal women are awful, you have to feed them and walk them; there wont be a reason to get a girlfriend when virtual reality waifus become household items.
"The Void" seems to be a big deal, it even made it into the Top-News at gamestar.de (biggest german gaming site). Do you live in Utah now, Krenzo? http://www.gamestar.de/news/vermischtes/3085662/the_void.html
Not yet, I just put my house up for sale, found a buyer, and closing the deal next month. I'll be moving shortly. I've been working remotely with them since January.
Knowing the large corps... facebook (or some other large entity) will buy this too and then turn it to crap. Here is hoping that that doesn't happen though.
Empires 2 on this tech would be some hilarious fun. Though the idea of the commander being able to walk around map like some giant placing buildings and issuing orders does sound kinda amazing.
Lol, like he would spend his well earned money on an empires remake. He left to do something new, something he loved, and he is now successful due to a massive amount of hard work NOT being spend on Empires.
