Well, how many players do we have? less than 8 : Obsidian conflict on Destroyer's server (with cakes). Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, but in this case don't count me. 9~16 : TTT(If Trickster will settle the server), ZM. 16~24 : TTT 24+ : Just play Empires. Because TTT is pretty imbalanced at this point, for obvious reasons.
According to the poll, when we adjust for timezones, real life and "meh, fuck It"-ery (and add YouzY and Valmona to the numbers). There's 7-10 people that would show up. At least that's how I see it.
This Saturday I think I could show up, depending on how early it was. Or late, half my day is stuck doing something. I miss my saturdays. Raider I think you need to make a decision of some sort, anyone who would show up to a game has probably already spoken, it's up to you on what we end up playing. Even if some people didn't say anything on a couple of games they might show up anyway just because they know empire people will be there.
Whether or not I can play depends on the time you guys choose (Pacific time sucks for coordinating anything on the interwebs). I can play all of these games, but do not have them installed (I'd like heads-up on what we'll actually play) so I'd need a little time to get ready. Will we TS3 for this? I think we should for da lulz. PS: Early morning Saturday works best for me (probably also best for Euros). I can be up at 7 AM PST (3 PM England-time) I am not available afternoon Saturday, but Saturday night I am.
I can agree with this, so I think we can exclude Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, TTT and ZM remains, all we need is green lights from Trickster if he can setup the TTT server using th EPIC box. Otherwise we'll just play ZM and as Security said, if we reach over 20 players we'll play Empires. We'll also hang out in the EPIC TS3. So go ahead and download Garry's Mod TTT, TS3 and ZM. Yeah, I talked with Trickster yesterday and it would seem that the server needs a lot of updating, so TTT will have to wait, so we will instead play ZM2 The time will still be the same though. See you there!
I've updated the GMOD server but I don't know how to update TTT at this time. I've been told the person who does know how to run this server is Wealthysoup. If you guys are set up for ZM then that's good, but if everyone is up for it, don't disregard a last-minute change to TTT, because if Wealthysoup comes online then we might be able to do that.
Could this http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Workshop_for_Dedicated_Servers be of any help? Last time i tried hosting one of those thing, it updated automatically at each server start.
So it appears that the TTT server is working now just so everyone knows. The time we'll be running this event will still be the same and the password to the server will be "empttt" In order to connect just type "connect epic-empires.co.uk:27070; password empttt" or just join through the Steam friends list. I don't remember half the weapons being absolutely terrible. It was fun, but I'm still not sure what you're suppose to do when everyone gathers together.
I found that my 8v1 on island was a pretty good execution in such a situation, if that deagle dude behind me wasn't there I'd get away and pull up a disguiser
