Well I'm probably going to learn a bit about website dev'ving because my dad's setting up his business, so I might be able to help. If anything, I call being in charge of the gallery. I'm actually good at photography & angles.
trickster... did you ever try that program? does it work for you? Ehh I guess it doesn't matter if you use it or not its just that the program would be easier for noobs to use since there is no need to edit anything.
If I get chance I'll test it before one of the tests this week, but I'm really pushed for time at the moment.
I swear to God if I have to go through this with the entire forum, AGAIN, I'm going to murder somebody. Computers at school automatically give me a different font. I have no say in the matter.
I have the same opinion about your doubts; just agree to disagree and move on like the mature and respectful person I know you to be.
So I started on a template that draws on features I like from the current website and adds/changes some things (still a work in progress obviously): http://epic-empires.co.uk/emp/
its not latin, its lorem ipsum the site still looks much like a blog ukgamer. maybe different pix will change that though, idk ... id aim more for a "website" with the blog only as link (smthg along the lines of "Dev-Log" or "Dev-Blog")
The blog bit at the bottom is just there so I can work on the design. This is not reflecting the content of the index page.
on my actual computer it does look better, thats on 1024x800fullscreen its just scaled to 75%. could you make the text area smaller or not fixed width or idk so it doesnt overlap on the right? please
Damn you for having a weird taskbar on the left. I'll make the width smaller because fluid designs are a pain in the arse. Actually I could make the design fluidish... but you're ruining my slideshow.
i figured the vertical space would be more important at this resolution and then found out that it makes more sense to have the taskbar on the left - right next to where menues usually are - so i have that on my desktop aswell now. only downside is that you need a year or two to get used to where the clock is :D
