Ok make it not move because it might fps lag. but there should be a logic_timer with it so that is shoots out cooling steam or uses a wielding torch at random times.
I'd just make one similar to the RA3 Soviet Crusher crane, that thing is badass looking, but it didnt repair vehicles with its crane part, it just released little drones from its "Crushing" devices to repair vehicles. The BE crane would probably resemble an actual crane with an extremely stylish and black paint job.

id say the cherry picker works but personally id add in a control cabinet and some way of hinting towards that it could be moved around to repair buildings out of its reach

I feel a solid cement block taperd and the sides under the cherry picke is all you need. just drive those stakes into it.
id say yes, vessy but overall i feel these things need to look "mobile" i hope my vision can be considered in somehow
I think the cranes might want to have as small a base as possible so you can take as much away from its radius as possible

Sorry if its already been decided what these things are supposed to look like, its kinda unclear for me.
Ok added cement blocks.. what do you think? btw I think you guys miss interpreted his re quest. the fix radius is about the size of the base of a repair pad, not a whole base.
