VTOL can take off an an angle between 0 and 90.

 

im very aware of that, but the vtol still looks very plane like, so i figured a longer runway style landing pad, just for some variation in the model

 

Runways take up unnecessary space. That's why the aircraft are VTOL. The devs don't want runways.

That's a lot of steps. Are they really small steps or is it a really tall climb?

 

judgeing form the pic of the BE one, these things should be relatively big,so yeah its a decent climb, sadly the pic does a bad job but its a wide set of steps(slow accent)

I have a huge griefing issue with your ramp. What's to stop people driving up it and blocking with a friendly vehicle? You need to take this stuff into consideration.

 

the ramp is for driving up into transports, and make the vehicles float above the platform?

 

Transports should have to land somewhere else. It blocks aircraft production.

SirSnipes, I'd suggest working on some concept art before you get too far into the actual modelling of it. As stated by others, a vehicle ramp wouldn't be that great of an idea. I'd also like to add that aircraft carrying vehicles probably won't be added for a long time, if ever.

 

Just get something ingame..
