You can't ensure that. The PUG is open to everyone. And I'm not saying people will sabotage it. I'm talking cheating. All you need to do is park someone in spec and in a vent/teamspeak server, and they can feed one team information about the other.
Well there will allways be people like Knighttemplar (even if he himself isn't around) who people trust . I think many players would like the opportunity to look back at how it played out. Not to mention putting the best match online to showcase empires might attract many more people, ... and the right kind of people. There's got to be a few people who are completely neutral. * crosses fingers * What about vessboy? He's an artist, he could record matches. Maybe some of the devs?
Get the players with the best computers in each match to record demos, then they can be used to later get proper footage from them. Also, IIRC, KT left Empires for good :cry:
If anyones going to record the matches, use demos. The end result will be better because the person that turns it into videos will be able to timetravel through the events match
It worked here. The bsid vs cw demo played entirely without problems. If the demo goes wrong once or twice it's no problem i guess. We'd just have to use the best match that did get recorded smoothly.
Let bloodreaver do it, he is neutral and has made good videos in the past Also more importantly he has already volunteered for it!
okay, fraps and demo both work on my pc, i desire to be the Northern factions communications officer (the guy that makes the videos for the northern faction while playing)
It doesn't matter is some people can't run demos. Demos are a better source for recording as the camera person can fast forward/rewind as needed to get good shots. Its much better than recording in real time during the game.
Sounds cool, like the Joint Operations tournament I used to play in. If thing becomes big it could probably become a little money maker to help fund development too. I'll be in.

The match is up to the players. The PUG site is merely there for frontend infrastructure. It's up to the players to organize when they will play.
