What is the Official PUG?

Hi.

You may have noticed the PUG Team Captains thread in the Clans forum or you may have missed it. That's why I'm writing here.

We're about to launch the PUG (Pick-Up Game) and I want to let those of you who don't know about it learn what it's all about.

• Players join the NF or the BE team on the PUG forums
• They are then members of their respective army
• Once a week there is a battle between the two forces based on a fictional story concocted by Empires fiction writers. There is a map of the Empires world that is updated after each battle
• The outcome of the battle determines what happens next in the story (like a choose-your-own-adventure book)

What day will the matches be on? I might be able to make Fridays and weekends. This sounds like a lot of fun.

at what time and what server?

(its a 8 hour diffrense between most EU and US players along with latency diffrenses etc...)

 

Likely on Napalms server or on Tricksters server

 

Satanchild666: 1. You have no proven experience in Empires mapping. 2. The PUG doesn't need a mapper.

 

Those are one and the same.

 

How will you deal with too many people showing up to fit on one server?
