I was a rifleman hiding just outside the BE base in Escort and happened to catch a glimpse of something being built on top of the left wall. I threw a sticky bomb over the top hoping to blow up his building but it got stuck to the engineers head instead.
I once killed a CV when me and a rifleman were attacking it, it was almost dead and I was using my calculator on it and he throws a sticky, it sticks to my head instead of the CV and the CV dies when I headbutt it. Not my most spectacular but one of my most satisfying kills was when Im grenadier shooting hell out of an enemy APC at medium range, it starts smoking so retreats round a corner past some rocks and trees, I launch a rocket and even though it is out of sight manage to direct it around the corner into the apc, blowing it up and kiling some dudes
Best death: Escort , im gren . I 9mined the fullcompo heavy tank , it flew a long way, over nf spawn on 3rd flag, and too bad for me , it landed on me killing me :D Best kill: hmm a hard choice, but imo best was that one: canyon, im on BE , I think Mkoll was com, team sucked ass ,west is lost, north too. Everyone starts to turtle near be main, com places lvl3 turrets. Next 1 hour is lights and apcs ,then HE meds vs lvl3 , (btw there was a awesome view, 20 He shells bombarding the be base at the same time:D), then nf got arty, i stickied somehow like 5 of them, then bothteams ran out of tickets. Com placed a vf and 2 guys made heavy tanks. We started rushing north in epic fail rush. There was no Nf there, totally ungarded:D, heavies started to shoot meds, i hided in forest. NF tankers were made of pure fail and got owned, heavies started to attack NF main , when the SD timer reached 0 , i shot my AR ffrom a nice distance and killed the nf cv :D:D:D I can imagine the piss of nf com :D
Only noobs stay in flipped over APCs. Fortunately there were a lot of noobs on BE at the time (thus the lack of defusal). I can only imagine what it must have been like on the BE team at the time with half of the team screaming, "Oh noes, flipped APC what do we do? What do we do? Someone flip it back over because I'm just going to sit in it."
If someone will tell me how to post screenies, i have a massiive montage of cv kills... INCLUDING A EPIC NINEMINE OF CPATTON!
i went up into the server console and started typing "sm_slay noob1; sm_slay noob2..." etc... (noob1, noob2 etc are the playernames on the server). Too bad the 30 players didnt fit into 1 console command line. So i copied the first line into my clipboard, typed the 2nd line with the remaining playernames and executed the 2nd line by pressing enter followed by ctrl+v and enter to execute the 1st line i copied. Man i killed the whole server... pure ownage!
Yesterday I had a killrun on duststorm. I was near the ruins and the enemy already had a huge base there. The commander placed me a barracks and I built it. Unfortunately nobody else of my team ever spawned in these barracks, but I managed to kill 5 lt's, 1 apc and about 10 soldiers all alone without loosing the barracks. Then i started attacking their base. I killed the barracks, the vf, an armory, a few turrets and a few soldiers. I nearly took the whole ruins alone... but then an enemy apc came, destroyed the barracks while I was destroying their vf and killed me because I could not change to grenadier again... In the time I was attacking ruins, my team lost everything else and was pushed back to the old mainbase. I wanted to kill the enemy cv because I thought this was the only chance left. I changed to gren with ammo-upgrade and speedupgrade and started running in the direction of their base... I nearly got shot by an apc and a riffleman I met on the way and was nearly dead. Suddenly I saw the CV, all alone just a little bit behind the middle. I placed my 8 mines and shot it with the mortar. After a second mortar-shot It died and we won.
Was playing on ARMY OF REBELS server earlier. The map was emp_isle, and within ten minutes it was clear we were going to lose. Half our team hadn't joined squads, I was on BE team and our comm was a noob. He researched lvl2 turrets, then straight for Heavy chassis, then rail guns. He hadnt bothered getting engines or armour, and hadn't even bothered to drop a barracks so we were still spawning at main by the time railgun research was complete. Of course NF had taken all of the refineries and were about to start killing our base, and we didn't have enough res to build a rail tank because the last of our res was spent on standard heavies (now destroyed by NF lights) before rails were completed. I build a standard APC and tell my team our only hope is to get into my APC and get to the enemy base. Half my team fire rockets at my APC instead of getting into it as I collect players from around our base. So with 4 players and myself in my APC, thinking "how the fuck are we gonna do this?" we head up the coast. We make it to the enemy base and spot the comm sitting on the edge of the cliff, so I head straight up the hill in his direction. Unfortunately the engineer in the APC turret fires his machine gun at the NF comm straight away, instantly alerting him to our pitiful attempt at a ninja. I keep going anyway. Meanwhile an NF player says in global chat that he is ready to nine mine our VF, and "your base is being attacked" messages are all I can hear. I get in front of the NF CV on the edge of the cliff, who has tried to reverse away before realising he is totally surrounded by his own structures - the only way for him to go is straight ahead, into my APC. As he comes forward, we bump bumpers, then I reverse and turn as if getting pushed out the way. As he exposes his side to me I slam my apc forward into him, rollig him off the cliff and perfectly onto his roof! Flying off the cliff after him, I get on the other side of him so he can't roll over, as my APC of noob engies jumps out and rape him with our calculators, winning the game with perhaps only seconds to spare.
okay, so here are my three favorite kills. hunting heavy tanks as gren in general is just awesome. that moment where you have almost no health, and he has a side without any health, so you run right out of cover, right out in front of him and just have enough time before he can take you out to get a rocket into his exposed far side... legendary. spotting an enemy through my scout rifle scope, chasing him across dust storm. he was so far away that he was only about three pixels wide even through the scope, and at this point he was behind a couple of dunes. all i could see was his head occasionally appearing between two dunes and then going down again as he ran. i guessed where he was moving and just as he appeared again i managed to drop him with hs. damn satisfying. finally; a jeep driver driving towards me at full speed on isle, i was just stood in the middle of the beach with scout rifle. not trying to dodge, i just stood there, facing him, waiting for the shot. waiting for it, waiting for it... then bam. seconds before he ran me over, i got him in the head, and his jeep skidded to a stop in front of me.
hectic final chase behind the enemy comm, as a gren jumping out of apc and while chasing it on foot got down for a quickly shot mortar, witch ended up delivering the final blow to their cv, quick aim+portion of luck = one of the funniest kills ever for me
