Now I am not a 4 year old player, BUT, I looked at moddb's page on empires and I noticed map emp_badland. holy crap more like emp_badass what happened to that map and why haven't other maps been inspired by its awesome style. Only canyon slightly resembles it but it doesn't have the fog. we need more foggy and rough and valley like maps!
it died off with the rest of the shit maps. It's small circle map with a small middle hill with and cliffs surrounding it. Putting level 3 turrets on the cliffs would mean no more middle base and refs and it was a race to arty to win.. Arky re-did it too look better but the gameplay stayed the same.
It was a shit map, but the matches on it were epic. Examples would be: - Headshotmaster completely boxing in the enemy base with level 3 MGs and MLs. - Gigantic tank fights with arties wreaking havoc everywhere. - Instant loss of all reinforcements and staring at my ragdoll for 30 minutes before being revived, while the remaining players did arty duels.
It was only fun with about 24 people and no level 3's. The original was ugly and laggy, here's the update I made, but all you get are pics. :p It was 150.
Holy jesus where did you get that skybox! all fpsbanana has is a fail search function and really un-artistic OR un-realistic skyboxes
