That's a part of (in a particular form) a set of non linear coupled differential equations called the Navier Stokes Equations. They describe the variation energy, mass, and velocities of a fluid in the most general case. Essentially there are far too many degrees of freedom (variables if you will) to nail down a single simple solution, so you have to make lots and lots of assumptions to get an analytical result. In a computer you can brute force (sic) the whole lot, which is part of the foundations of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Generally though even then you wouldn't use the full set, instead starting by simplifying them with a few assumptions first. I think that's enough rocket science for one post...
Nope, harder. You need to not only recognize alpha-numeric characters, you need to recognize mathematical symbols from a picture, and understand them. This is MANY times harder.
