-window

Not sure if this is mine computer or the mod as whole, but:

I wanted to test emp in window mode, so I added -window at the same place where you add -console in steam.

But now for the pug, I removed the -window because it made commanding a pain in the ass.

But when I try to start the game.. it goes IN WINDOW MODE! goes to loading... then it quits itself.
And it does the same if I add -window, if I make a shortcut, if I restart computer.

Anyone got any clue how to fix, or do I have to reinstall?

And this hindered me from playing the pug, *raeg* =/

 

There might be a -fullscreen, or whatever..

Alternatively, you can go to options>video>full screen.

 

He can not go to options-etc. because the game shuts down while loading.

Dz, the game starting in windowed mode is because it's written in your config now. No idea why it shuts down, though.

-fullscreen should work, otherwise try -full which is the HL1 command for fullscreen.

Edit: Yep, it's -fullscreen

 

If that doesn't work, try doing it in the autoexec.cfg.

 

Yeah, it started in fullscreen (Drag and beerdude told me yesterday), but.. it still didn't work. So I'll do a reinstall later.

 

window mode needs afaik a bit more recources

 

Erm.. It did work, but then I couldn't start the game when I removed it, so I doubt it's my computer..
