Its well known that the crates are totaly horrible unoptimized. Please remove those from the dam in Mvalley... why are they even their in the first place the NF crates are ok.
Yeah yeah its perfectly fine that the mvalley dam has more polygons now than all buildings on the whole map.
I have an idea. How bout we PM the mapper in charge about the issue in a way that doesn't sound like bitching, whining, or moaning. It would be much more polite than trying to make the only person working on the maps look like he doesn't know what he is doing or something. Seriously, if you have a complaint this specific mayama, why don't you use PM's instead of being a whiny bitch?
Agree. He broke my crossroads to the point that now no server (e.g. VIPER) wants to play it even when it is now fixed!
There are practically no empires themed map props, so we have to reuse what is available over and over again, even if it is crap. That's why ;-)
Yeah putting something in a realease that would be worth posting on a mapping, modding or modeling forum for the laughs it would cause is completly fine. Its not like someone forced those crate models into the map. Doing something like that is basicaly one of the worst things you can do. Every dev knows that those crates are horrible but not using it would need some learning aptitude. Edit: Using insults as a response if someone points out a flaw... yeah no learning aptitude as said. I actually did make a new vehicle fleet for BE, the models were around 60% complete. Everyone liked those models (exept the heavy were people had mixed opinions) but why should anyone sane work for people like this def team that seems to have no clue about modeling or texturing or whatever but constantly insults every minor detail they dont like. My favourite is still that my low poly med tank sucks cause it has not enough detail on it.
