    I have a x1300 , can't play anything above 640x480 with everything off @ 20fps.

    I think Dubee's PC is AGP it's that old, so I doubt it'd fit. Same with Omneh's PC, hence it's not good for him.

    I have an HD4890, but I doubt my PSU could handle an 8800GTX.

    How do you have an 8800GTX that you never even used?

    Shit, I have an old single-slot 8800GT just sitting in the packaging of my HD4890. I think it still works.

    The sad thing is that the 8800GT performs as good as the 8800GTX at sub 1080p resolutions.

    lol fuckin cosmo brought a card over and tried to install it and it didnt work so i got that one still i forget what kind it is, but I might get a newer computer soon to play the new bf game.. would it be able to handle that?

    No. You need a top-end new PC to play BF3 at high, and at least a decent one to play it on med. We're talking £600 min.

    About 3 months ago I mentioned that I have a spare gtx260 lying around and that we could use it to hold a mapping/moddeling whatever contest. The response was negative and now an ex-coworker is happy about it.

    Btw, I have a box full of ati radeon 7000s lying around at work now, does anybody want them?
